- Tony Spades, born Antonio Speights is a product of Brooklyn, NY, where he spent his early years moving all over the Borough of Brooklyn. His family is from downtown Brooklyn and Fort Greene Projects, but Tony also lived in the East New York, Bed-Stuy, and Flatbush areas of Brooklyn. Tony, a Hip-Hop Artist from the age of ten, developed most of his musical styling and music appreciation from family and friends in his neighborhood of Downtown Brooklyn.

Tony Spades is currently working on his first solo mainstream album to be released digitally and soon after made available on cd. The new album will be titled “The Best Kept Secret”. Available in the near future will be Tony’s mixtape “Man On Fire” and his mixtape as the producer, Johnny Torch, after that. In order to promote his new activities Tony is creating a new website with new music, photos, and video. This website will also launch the new era of “Tony Spades Entertainment.” This new entertainment group will remain under the umbrella of Tony’s record label FreedomBorn Records, but will allow him to focus on more of his personal ventures within the entertainment industry.

Decision Album or Mixtape

I finally decided yall. I will not be putting out an Album this spring. Instead I will be putting out a Mixtape entitled the "Best Kept Secret Vol. 1" I figured this would give me the chance to not only introduce to me as a solo artists. But also it will allow me to put out some of my old music that people haven't heard as of yet. A little more freedom with a Mixtape too. I can do a lot more collabos and expand my reach to other artists as a fellow artist and producer. I love the concept…

Alright really don't know what to do as far as my next project is concerned. I originally wanted to release my next project as an album. But now after some consideration I am pretty sure i want to release the project as an album/mixtape for download and to get more circulation. If anybody has an opinion chime in.
Not Enough Time

Yo it just seems there is not enough time to do everything. I am making new tracks on the regular as a producer. Then Im trying to write songs as an artist and finally trying to promote everything as a CEO. I really need to get someone on the team that can just do promotions. I don't sleep as it is.
