- Born February 16, 1991, Stefan Ekobena known as Hot Lotto, an Artist/Producer representing the DMV. He grew up in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. A second generation American, his parents immigrated from Cameroon, West Africa. As a child, his hobbies included playing soccer and writing poetry. At the age of 17, he moved to Washington, DC to attend Howard University. He began writing and recording music in 2010. Hot Lotto represents the DMV because it is where he discovered his lyrical abilities and where he began his musical career. His influences include Eminem, Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, and Kanye West. Hot Lotto doesn't like to be classed as a rapper because he possesses the ability to prosper in several genres on music. Whether it be Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock, RnB, Etc. a work of art can be composed due to his versatility.
